Tata Harrier EV Booking: Tata Motors has officially opened the order books for its flagship electric SUV, the Tata Harrier EV, and revealed the full price list for all its variants.
This much-awaited electric version of the popular Harrier is set to take on India’s growing EV market with a robust set of features and striking design updates.
Variants and Special Editions
The Tata Harrier EV is available in five variants: Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless Plus, Empowered, and the top-spec Empowered AWD.
For buyers looking for something extra, the flagship Empowered AWD variant also comes in an exclusive matte-black Stealth edition that adds a bold touch to its presence on the road.
Distinctive Yet Familiar Exterior
While the Tata Harrier EV retains the silhouette and proportions of its diesel-powered sibling, it stands out with subtle electric-specific design elements.
These include a blanked-off front grille, silver vertical slats on the front bumper, and a faux silver skid plate that boosts its rugged appeal.
The side profile showcases redesigned 19-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic covers and fresh “.ev” badges on the front doors, replacing the usual Harrier badge.
The rear design mirrors the standard Harrier but gets unique vertical slats on the skid plate to align with the front styling.
Modern Cabin with Premium Touches
Inside, the Tata Harrier EV sports a refreshed white and grey cabin theme, inspired by Tata’s Curvv EV and Nexon EV.
The interior feels airy and modern, thanks to upgrades like the larger 14.5-inch Samsung-sourced QLED touchscreen infotainment system.
Features such as the 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, the 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and grey leatherette seats enhance the premium vibe of the cabin.
Practical touches like the well-laid-out centre console, rotary terrain mode selector, and wireless charging make the interior both stylish and functional.
Packed With Features and Advanced Safety
The Harrier EV offers a host of comfort features including powered and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a premium 10-speaker JBL sound system.
Tata has also added unique EV features like V2L and V2V charging support, boost mode, off-road assist, and transparent mode using its 360-degree camera.
On the safety front, it gets seven airbags, a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, TPMS, and Level 2 ADAS features like adaptive cruise control and driver attention warning.
Two Powertrain Options and Impressive Range
Buyers can choose between two battery pack options. The Medium Range model features a 65 kWh battery with a single motor producing 238 PS and 315 Nm of torque, offering a claimed range of 538 km.
For those seeking more power and range, the Long Range version packs a 75 kWh battery and comes with a dual-motor setup producing 394 PS and 504 Nm.
The Long Range variant delivers an impressive claimed range of up to 627 km (RWD) and 622 km (AWD).
The Road Ahead
With bookings now open, the Tata Harrier EV looks set to attract buyers seeking a premium, capable electric SUV with modern tech and rugged styling.
Positioned to compete with other electric SUVs in the market, the Harrier EV marks another step in Tata Motors’ push towards sustainable mobility in India.
