Mahindra XUV 7OO Facelift: Mahindra is preparing to refresh its flagship SUV lineup with the upcoming 2026 Mahindra XUV 7OO facelift, and recent spy images have given car enthusiasts an exciting first glimpse into what’s coming and it’s all about technology, comfort, and bold design updates.

Triple-Screen Interior Inspired by XEV 9e

The biggest highlight from the leaked images is the all-new triple-screen layout inside the XUV 7OO’s cabin, borrowing cues directly from the upcoming XEV 9e.

The setup includes three 10.2-inch displays one each for the digital instrument cluster, infotainment system, and a passenger screen, enhancing both tech appeal and user interactivity.

Adding to the visual delight, the new two-spoke steering wheel with a backlit Mahindra logo adds a premium and futuristic touch to the cabin.

Interior and Feature Enhancements

The 2026 Mahindra XUV 7OO facelift is all set to get a cabin overhaul. Mahindra is reportedly incorporating luxury and tech-rich upgrades such as:

  • Front and rear ventilated seats
  • Harman Kardon premium audio system
  • Digital key functionality
  • Self-parking system

The dashboard layout is expected to mirror that of the XEV 9e, further aligning Mahindra’s electric and ICE design languages.

Subtle Exterior Tweaks

Though the interior takes center stage, Mahindra is also giving the exterior a facelift. The most noticeable update will be a redesigned front grille with vertical slats and circular headlamps that house new DRLs, replacing the current C-shaped design.

The side and rear profiles, however, are likely to remain largely unchanged. Interestingly, the test mule lacked fog lamps, which may indicate a design revision or integration of fog lighting into the main cluster.

Feature-Rich with Advanced Safety

Internally codenamed W616, the 2026 Mahindra XUV 7OO facelift could feature:

  • Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)
  • 7-airbags
  • Hill Hold Assist
  • Dual-pane panoramic sunroof
  • Multicolor ambient lighting

These features aim to place the new XUV 7OO at par with premium offerings in its segment, appealing to tech-savvy and safety-conscious buyers alike.

No Changes in Engine Options

Mechanically, the Mahindra XUV 7OO facelift will remain unchanged. It is expected to continue with the existing:

  • 2.0L turbo petrol engine
  • 2.2L turbo diesel engine

Both engines will be paired with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options, delivering the same power and torque outputs as the current model.

Launch Timeline and Expectations

The 2026 Mahindra XUV 7OO is slated to launch by mid-2026, marking five years since the original model’s debut. With this update, Mahindra aims to further strengthen its presence in the premium SUV segment, offering a balanced mix of performance, luxury, and innovation.
